Christine Potthoff, volunteer for Humanitarian Service Project, gave a fantastic presentation in front of the club. She started by thanking Rotary for its support of the organization in the past, and explained in detail what they are currently doing. Originally started in a garage in Wheaton, the HSP operates in a facility in Carol Stream, helping alleviate the needs of poverty for people all across Kane and DuPage counties. Staffed by only four full-time employees, the organization uses dozens of volunteers to deliver incredible sub-projects.
