Food Drive at your mail box this Saturday!

The US Post Office is back for their 25th country-wide food drive! Postal carriers go door to door picking up donations left at mail boxes and deliver them to local food pantries. Last year, the Batavia Interfaith Food Pantry received 5,500 pounds of donations!

Please pass the word to all your members, neighbors and friends!

This year, the food drive is Saturday, May 13. Please participate! It’s the easiest food drive ever.

This Saturday, just set your non-perishable food donations in any bag near your mail box by 9 a.m.
Batavia postal carriers will deliver your donations to the Batavia Interfaith Food Pantry. These donations are tax deductible.

Our food pantry receives and distributes close to 45,000 pounds of food each and every month. So far this year, we have served 600 Batavia and Batavia Township families offering full service monthly grocery shopping, clothing shopping twice a month and daily distributions of perishable items. We couldn’t provide these services without the incredible support of the Batavia community.
